The art class has been working hard this year. If you need any proof, just take a look in the display case in front of the computer lab. On display are a number of masks, sculptures, and drawings. Brett Wilson’s mask was inspired by video games as well as the Eskimo painting tradition of only using the colors blue, white, and black. Keynan’s sculpture of two dark figures can only be described as interesting. Currently the art class is working on making customized printings as well as preparing posters for the Geyserville Small School Classic the week of December 15th. Regardless of the project, it is obvious that Mr. Pettis strongly encourages his students to explore their artistic potential. |
