Super Heroes, don’t always have to be super to be heroes. For example, Wade Wilson was a normal man who was a very talented mercenary, whom did what people wanted for the highest dollar. But Wade turned a new leaf when he realized that he wasn’t a lost cause , because he could right all his wrongs and start being a hero that everybody would respect and not fear. In the end Wade did became a hero he wanted , he saved an innocent person that he was ordered to “take care of”, and he took out all the other assassins trying take out that person. But his heroism resulted in Tolliver, the man that ordered the assassination of that person, to put a order out to assassinate Wade. Wade managed to take out the assassins, and Tolliver left Wade alone, all seemed good for Wade. But he later found out that he had an incurable cancer that was going to lead to his death. He then went to Weapon X where they attempted to cure him. The cure ended up killing him. The reason I find this character so awesome is because he was a normal man. A normal man that I feel like I could maybe be like someday. Other people also almost prefer heroes that don’t have any super powers because they are more realistic. Randi Wilson (no relation to Wade Wilson) says Iron Man is her favorite non-powered superhero because “He doesn’t need superpowers to defeat evil, only his intelligence”. Lindsay Swaney’s favorite non-powered superhero is not a hero at all, he is in fact a villain named The Hood. She says he’s her favorite because “he is pretty persuasive and shows excellent leadership because he was able to unite a lot of super villains and rob a bank.” When I asked Deadpool, he said that he had no favorite superheroes because “they fly around in tight tights and act like they are the best and act like they know everybody’s problems, but they in fact have no idea the problems real people have financially, not everyone can afford big bad awesome super armor or a fancy hood.” |
