Buena Vista is a school where students have the chance to have a part time job, make up missed credits, and show their true potential in an environment that is not time sensitive, rushed or limited, and that lets them have more initiative in their own educational success.

Buena Vista students are doing great so far, but like all the other students the much anticipated Spring break is just around the corner and some are starting to get antsy. However, they are doing great, staying on task, and focused more than ever. Molly says ”I am working really hard, doing what I have to do, and I hope to rejoin my class next year”.

The students of Buena Vista say they love it because they get a chance to see other methods of learning as well as getting to work at their own pace for a change. Iris says “Being in Buena Vista has taught me that things happen, but you make the best of it work hard, and create a future that you want to see”. 

The Buena Vista teacher Mr. Montesinos says “I know all these students are smart just a little amotivated. I want to help them, get them back on track, and I want to see them at Geyserville High School. And like someone once said Buena Vista students are not bad students just miss understood.
