The girls and boys basketball teams had a game on Friday January 30th the girls at 5:30 and the boys at 7:00 against Point Arena and both teams lost. But they played an excellent game! The teams had another game on Saturday January 31st the girls at 5:00 and the boys at 7:00. They played against Trinity Prep and both teams won! The Bronchos had an outstanding game. Both teams played against Potter Valley on February 2nd and left the school at 3:30. The girls played at 5:30. The girls gave a great effort and didn’t give up they fought until the end but unfortunately lost. The boys also played but at 7:00 at Potter Valley as well and lost as well. The boys did a very good job they were up some points but then went back down and lost. The teams had a game at home on February 5th. The girls played at 5:30 and the boys play at 7:00. The teams played against AV. The girls played a wonderful game and ended up with a win. And the guys played hard but lost. The teams played at Mendocino against Mendocino. The girls played at 5:30 and the boys played at 7:00. The players left at 2:30. The girls had a very close game loosing by one point but they played hard and didn’t give up. On the other hand, the boys had a harsh game but tried their best and didn’t give up either. This was the player’s last away game of the season but there are two more home games for the girls and three more home games for the boys. The boys played on Friday February 12th in Geyserville against Leggett Valley. They played at 6 o’clock. The boys had a wonderful game but lost. And on Saturday again they played Leggett Valley at Leggett and lost. Both teams played on Tuesday February 16th at home against Laytonville. Girls played at 5:30 and the boys played at 7:00. The girls won and played a fantastic game! The boys lost but tried their best. For the seasons last game they played against Round Valley at home on Thursday February 18th, girls at 5:30 and boys at 7:00. The girls had a great game and a close game but lost. The boys also had a great game they had tied then they went into over time but lost in the end by two points. Both teams had a great last season game. The coaches recognized the seniors who are; Marcy Flores, Macy McClung, Sina Kilian, Allila Dollar, Charlotte Kreklau, Jesus Zendejas, Juan Mendoza, Sawyer Wilson, David Hadley, and Juan Hernandez. |
