Deadpool is back for another article so I could talk about him, again. Super Powers, everybody wants them, BUT nobody (except Deadpool) has them! So we make up comics, movies, and even novels portraying people with super powers. People have a lot of fantasies because everybody has a little hero in them and they all want to express it in some way. For example, the character Deadpool has powers to regenerate any wound he receives. If one of his limbs is cut off all he has to do is pick it up and hold it to where it is supposed to go and it’ll reattach in seconds. He can survive anything, even getting his head cut off. He can regenerate little appendages such as fingers, teeth or even …. But the greatest thing about Deadpool’s abilities is that he ages extremely slower , making it so that he can live up to 800 years plus. Another awesome thing is that he is immune to all poisons and all viruses so he can never catch a cold or worse. The healing factor even keeps his cancer dormant (which results in tumor like bumps all over his body) if it weren’t for Deadpools healing factor he’d be eaten up alive by the cancer. This power would be idle for me because I like to do dangerous things, but before I do them I always think “will I get hurt?” so if I had the power I wouldn’t have to worry. I could live for at least 800 years, all my friends and family would die, but at least I could make more. That is the power I dream of having. Now other people prefer other powers such as Paige who says she would like the ability to read minds, so she can know the truth. Salvador Silva said he’d like to have the powers of the Green Goblin a villain from The Amazing Spiderman because the Green Goblin is “tight”. Tito Diaz wants to have the powers of The Incredible Hulk because the Hulk “is strong and no one wants to mess with him”. Everybody wants each power for a different reason or benefit. For me I’d like to benefit myself while using the powers to either save people or terrorize people. |
