Another two victorious months have passed and four more students have succeeded in becoming students of the month. Some of the students of the month were shocked and didn’t expect to win this honorable recognition. For the month of October, sophomore Zoe Ottoboni and sixth grader Sergio Ruiz won students of the month. “I think I won student of the month because I put a lot of effort to raise my grades and keep them up” exclaims Zoe Ottoboni. The student of the month award seems to motivate her to do well and keep up her good work. Sergio Ruiz excitedly proclaimed “I believe I got student of the month because I’m working hard by getting lots of reading points. My parents and I feel happy about my hard work and award”. Sergio jumps with joy and feels good about himself because he is doing well in school and being a good boy. For the month of November, sophomore Jeannie LeGallee and seventh grader Andy Gallardo received the title students of the month. “I believe I got student of the month because I have been helpful to others and I have been turning in my homework on time. I was surprised I got Student of the Month and I’m glad I did. I have gotten student of the month twice, once last year and once this year!” exclaims Jeannie LeGallee. Jeannie is a good role model for the students at the Geyserville Educational Park. Andy Gallardo still shocked says “I didn’t expect to get student of the month. I was shocked. I am very good at English so I think that’s why I won student of the month. I think the people who deserve student of the month have to have good grades and listen to the teacher”. The whole school cheered on these lucky winners. Who will be our next student of the month? Keep up those good deeds and good grades. |
